I can not picture the old building which she speaks of "as leaving". I
think the only building maybe an outbuilding. There was in the front yard,
a small building which was used for a school, smoke house the rear yard and
a dairy barn and another barn/hay building in the bottom below the house but
I can not recall a sawmill on the place.

He has told me, though, of a mutual acquaintance who lived there when he was young. He's very elderly now. As soon as things settle down a little at school, I'll see what more I can find out for you.
