I am looking for information on the Ravenwood Plantation, which I now believe no longer exists. It was a 700 acre plantation in Nottoway Co., VA. My great grandfather, John Edward Wistner and his wife Mertle Rose moved there from Paulding County, Ohio in 1913 to run a sawnmill there. My grandmother was born there on the plantation Oct. 26, 1916. Her sister Virginia Wistner was also born there, Dec. 26, 1914. If anyone has information on the land, the plantation, the house there, and what has become of the land, I would be happy to send an SASE if you let me know the cost of copies and postage. I also would like to have a copy of both birth certificates, but I am not sure where to write for that in Virginia. Thanks in advance.
