I looked at 1930 census and it indicated they resided on Bellefonte rd. On checking with a couple old timers ther could not recall its location. Bellefonte was an estate with a well known horse racing track. In reading about it drew people from the east shore to the mountains. It was located a short distance east of Blackstone Va. Army Fort Picket is located presently to the east of Blackstone and extents into three different counties. I suspect that when the military took over in (I beivieve) the early 40,s that they encompassed that location. Jim
