Aileen Lawless Perdue, 85, of 3008 Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, died Friday, July 7, 2000, at her home.
She was born February 20, 1915, in Patrick County, to the late Minnie Morrison Lawless and William Alexandria Lawless.
Perdue was retired from Tultex after 43 years as a sewing machine operator. She was a charter member of Collinsville Homemaker Club and also a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Perdue; two sisters, Maude L. Howell and Marie L. Holt; and two brothers, Leon B. Lawless and Guy W. Lawless.
Survivors include three sisters, Lucy Wood of Martinsville, Lois L. Moran of Stanleytown and Wilma Turner of Collinsville; a half-brother, David L. Lawless of Axton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and other times at the Daniels Creek Road residence.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Raines and the Rev. Bob Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home and Burial Park is handling arrangements.
