Thomas LaVerne Robinson, 76, of Martinsville, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at his home.

He was born in Birmingham, Ala., on May 2, 1930 to the late Carrol Vernon Robinson and Sara Louise Caldwell Robinson.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from DuPont after 32 years of service as an industrial engineer.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Ann Wyatt Walker Robinson of the home; two sons, Brian D. Robinson of Meadows of Dan and James H. Walker of High Springs, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

No funeral service was held.
Arrangements were made at Norris Funeral Services and Crematory.
