1821-1847 Pittsylvania County, Dalton Register.
New Blog post at http://gsgenealogy.blogspot.com/
If you have any Pittsylvania ancestors from 1821 to 1847, please email me and I will check the index I created for the Dalton Register of Pittsylvania County, Virginia and I will send you the page number for your ancestor and you can locate it in the document which is 31 pages long.
You may want to also search in the Library of Virginia catalog for "[family surname name] family bible. For example: "Leftwich Family Bible" or "Ward Family Bible". Several of these have online images or typed transcripts and other surprises like obituaries.
Researching WARD ancestors, unsure if Pittsylvania are related to my line looking for Edward Ward b. between 1794 and 1800, and his possible relationship to the Leftwich, Lynch (of Lynchburg, VA Independent City) Goode or Good Adams and Stone families.
If you have Pittsylvania Ancestors check a periodical "Peidmont Lineages" which includes Pittsylvania County. You can use Heritage Quest to search PERSI to see if it contains information on your ancestor.
