Hi. My name is Gary Spicer. My father was Paul E. Spicer,Jr. His father was Paul E. Spicer, Sr., born 10 Dec 1884 in Culpepper, Va. Paul (Sr's) brother was Richard Newlon Spicer, who was a DC policeman in the 1930's and he was married to Gertrude Woolard. Gertrude was a twin and her name was Pearl. Paul (Sr.) lived with his brother and the twins and family lore was that Pearl was one of his several wives. Paul Denton Spicer (I think ...) was Paul,Sr's son. There was also a sister - Lindell Katherine Spicer (b 16 Apr 1912. Paul (Sr.) was supposedly married multiple times. We are still trying to search out information.
