I am very interested in this cancery case that you brought to my attention. I was looking online on how to access the chancery case files at the Virginia Library in Richmond but there is a notice that the Rockingham County files are unavailable since August 20, 2012 for digital reformatting. I look forward to the time they are available again. I think it might provide some good information.
