Mary Frances appears to have had 4 children [Sarah Jane b. 1867], James Robert [b. abt. 1869], William A., Sr. [b. abt. 1872], and John Saylor Crawford [b. 1874] with John App Crawford, a school teacher from Greene County, Va. All children presumed to have been born in Rockingham County, Va.
