6. CHRISTINA3 LECHLEITER (ELIZABETH2 SCHMIDT, JOHANNES1) was born Abt. 1787, and died May 08, 1836 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. She married HENRY MCINTURFF January 17, 1809 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, son of FREDERICK MCINTURFF and SUSANNAH CARRIER.

Elizabeth is buried at Grant Coverstone land, Old Combs Place. Elizabeth had nine children. She is buried at the Clem Cemetery, Shenadoah County, Virginia (there are three Clem Cemeteries), location: From Waterlick South on route 678 for 6.8 miles to P. Grant Coverstone farm. Turn East on farm lane for .3 mile. Cemetery in open field on South side of land.

Had nine children. Tobias is buried at the Clem Cemetery, Shenadoah County, Virginia (there are three Clem Cemeteries), location: From Waterlick South on route 678 for 6.8 miles to P. G. Coverstone farm. Turn East on farm lane for .3 mile. Cemetery in open field on South side of land.

7. POLLY3 LICHLITER (ELIZABETH2 SCHMIDT, JOHANNES1) was born July 16, 1791, and died Abt. 1878. She married SOLOMON VEACH July 24, 1816, son of JESSE VEACH and UNICY UNKNOWN.

Notes for SOLOMON VEACH:
A large group of German families: the Veaches, Kneisleys (Kneislers), Clems (Klemms), Lichliters (Leichleiters), Ritenours (Reutenauers), Parretts and Smiths (Schmidts, Smidts) moved in tandem with each other to Shenandoah County, Virginia and then on to areas like Fayette County, Ohio and other points west. They heavily intermarried with each other, and their descendants share most of the members of these early families as ancestors. Solomon Veach was mentioned in James C. Brown's Will and Estate Appraisal:

The will mentions: Daniel Cullers, Jonathan Clem, Adam Ridenour & Sarah Brown, Henry Cullers, Abraham Kneisley, Solomon Veach, Jacob Golliday, Adam Peters, Adam Shearman, Adam Ridenour, Sarah Brown, Henry Hockman and Joseph Clem.

I have more Veach information and there is a book called "We Veaches" with their story. Their is also references to them in the Leichleiter book by Diane Stark Thurman.

Said to be a daughter of Adam and a sister to Susan. Only three children lived to their adulthood. Five of their children died of diphtheria in 1863-1864.

10. CONRAD3 LICHLITER (CATHERINE2 SCHMIDT, JOHANNES1) was born October 04, 1779 in Virginia, and died January 31, 1815 in War-of-1812, Richmond, Ohio. He married SARAH HARMAN April 21, 1804 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, daughter of MATHIAS HARMAN and ELIZABETH UNKNOWN.

Notes for CONRAD LICHLITER:
Conrad was baptized at Apple's Church, Thurmont, Maryland, on November 28th, 1779. His sponsors were Conrad Leichleid(er) and his wife Maria Barbara.

Conrad was a soldier in the War-of-1812 and served from August 18, 1814 to January 31, 1815, according to pension records from his widow, Sarah Harman Lichliter. He died in the War or was Missing from Roll Call at Richmond, Virginia, no date listed.
