If you look for Carsley, VA in Google Maps, it will basically put you there. The intersection of Carsley Road and Otterdam Road is where Carsley Church is, and the mill pond (now known as Atkins Pond) is northeast of that intersection.
That's about all I really know about property ownership in the area. I know later the Burgesses came to own land on what's now Blackwater Road. There's a small Burgess family cemetery in the middle of a cotton field on that land. Hester's uncle Peyton Burgess and some of his descendants are buried there - I think there are six or eight stones.
I do know that Hester's great grandfather Miles Burgess successfully petitioned the Governor of Virginia for a land grant based on service in the Virginia Militia during the Revolution of his uncle William, but I don't know where the land grant was located.
