Michelle, I've checked my database and have neither Deborah Spratley nor Lee Ruffin; then I noticed your picture. My Spratley's were the white Spratley family so we're probably not related. Check out the Surry Co. Historical Society website and see what they have. I was back there in 2000 and they were a tremendous help to me. Their collection of historical records for the county is extensive and the courthouse was across the street with thousands of records.
