He married MARY ANDERSON Abt. 1738 in Surry County, Virginia, daughter of JAMES ANDERSON and MARY JORDAN. She was born Bet. 1715 - 1720 in "Arnols", Surry County, Virginia, and died Bet. 1765 - 1779 in Sussex County, Virginia.
