Looking at a map, it appears that Leedstown is about 70 miles from the mouth of the Potomac. Is this correct? The ship Justitia sold its human cargo there in 1772 - would that have been as far up the river as the ship could navigate? My ancestor Judah LEVI was part of that cargo. Thanks...
