On page 573, family 37, Orpha Dotson Bevins (aka Orpha Della Bevins), a twin to Maggie, b:7 Sep 1890 in Wise Co, VA, m:3 Mar 1909 Albert Dotson b:30 Sep 1886, no issue.

Still on page 573, family 40, Maggie Bevins b:7 Sep 1890, Wise Co, VA m:2 Mar 1909 to Albert Dotson b:30 Sep 1886, with four issue.

Other research shows this Albert with the middle initial “W”. Verification of either would be appreciated.

Does anyone know a death date for Orpha Della Bevins?

If the 3 Mar 1909 marriage date to Orpha is correct, the 2 Mar 1909 marriage date to Maggie must be incorrect, the 9 Mar 1909 date most likely closest to being correct.

Does anybody know the story of these participants? Did Orpha die? Did Orpha remarry? Were the twins just having “fun”? Was Albert as confused as I?
