I am researching my fathers family. His Uncle George (E?) Dawson is reported to have lived in Alexandria in the late 1800's and most likely died between 1943 and 1945. He had two sons, George Dawson and William Dawson.

The senior George Dawson would have moved to Alexandria from New York where he lived in Brooklyn. His fathers name was also George E(dward) Dawson and his mothers name was Jane Pointer. He had three other brothers, Arthur, William and Edward. His only sister was Emily P Dawson who was the only remaining sibling in Brooklyn.

Any information available about this George and his family would be greatly appreciated as my father is dying of cancer and we have little time left.
