Looking for info on Christopher Gewin (Guin) who settled in Nansemond County, VA in the l680s. He witnessed 2 Quaker weddings in 1688. He immigrated from England, probably Cornwall, England perhaps in 1684.

He was an early VA Quaker. He had a son Thomas, among others, that is my forefather. He was granted several hundreds of acres of land for bringing indebentured servants into the country in 1704.

The family moved to N.C. but I have no idea when. My gggrandfather moved to Tuscaloosa, AL in 1827.

Would appreciate any information, especially as to wives of the first Christopher, believed to be Christopher Columbus born around 1660 in England, his son Thomas and his grandson Asahel (Asabel).
