I would not rely on "VA Marriages" as a sufficient source. The book is a derivative source, citing other books as the source of its information. You should examine the Barnes and Jenkins books, which may or may not provide proof that Thomas was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth of Suffolk, England. If neither book presents sufficient proof, the Garner-Keene book is probably correct in saying that the relationship has not been conclusively established.
