Knight Governor &c. give and grant unto Richard Poole, Four hundred Acres of Land lying towards the head of the Master branch of Sam: Bennotts Breek in the County of lower Norfolk Beginning at a small reedy branch on the south East side of the Master branch of Bennetts Creek near about a mile above John Gookins Landing place and so runs into the Woods three hundred and twenty poles according to the marked trees South East and by East & from thence North East and by North Two hundred poles and from thence North West and by North three hundred and twenty poles into the Master branch of Bennotts Creek and Parallel to the bank of the Creek unto the reedy branch where it first Began. The said Land being formerly granted to the said Poole by Patent dated the twenty second of August one thousand six hundred and fifty two. And now renewed in his Majesties name &c. To Have and To Hold &c. To be Held &c. Yielding and Paying &c. provided &c. Dated the Eighteenth of March One thousand six hundred and Sixty two.
