Robert Turpin, Tynemouth to Virginia, 17th Century?

Posted: 29 Jan 2013 9:02PM GMT
Classification: Query
Surnames: Turpin, Hall, Sherwood
Trying to determine if Robert Turpin, son of Lyonel & Margery Hall Turpin (and possibly husband of Dorothy Sheerwood) came to America. It is definitive that his younger brother, Michael, was in Jamestown about 1652, married, and had five children who survived him.

The Complete Book of Emigrants, 1661-1699 and Virtual Jamestown
shows:
Dec 12 1672 Elizabeth Villers apprenticed to Robert Turpin, 4 yrs, VA
Aug 3 1675 John Lafwell apprenticed to Robert Turpin, 4 yrs, VA
Jul 16 1678 Katherine Griffin app to Robert Turpin, 4 yrs, VA
Aug 21 1678 Jonathan Hurd app to Robert Turpin, 4 yrs, VA

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Brenda
