Marriage Records from 1782 in Jessamine, Kentucky

Classification: Query
Surnames: Scott, McCorkle
A family bible transcribed by my Grandmother many years ago has an entry for Samuel Scott m. Martha McCorkle 5 Mar 1782 in Jessamine, Kentucky. Obviously, Jessamine or Kentucky didn't exist at that point of time, but I'm assuming it covers the same geographical area. Does anybody know what that geographical area might be, or where the marriage records for that area might be? I am unable to find it through the Ancestry database in the Kentucky Marriages of 1780-1800. Samuel Scott was in the minute men as a volunteer company against Ferguson at Kingsmountain, NC, and went to Kentucky with Daniel Boone at "Boone Station" (according to Grandmother's notes) if that helps.
