Looking for descendants of Col. Benjamin F. Shaw (1829-1908), an early Clark County resident from about 1870. He was one of the signers of the Point Elliot Treaty in 1855, in the Seattle area. There are plans for a commemoration of this event this coming summer, and event planners are looking for descendants who may be interested in attending "Return to Mukilteo--a Point Elliott Gathering" on August 22nd.
Col Shaw married Cynthia Charity Switzler Nye in 1871 and had two children:
Benjamin F. Shaw Jr. (b 1874) and John William Shaw (b 1876).
Please reply here if you are a descendant, or are acquainted with a descendant of Col. Benjamin F. Shaw.
