Cliff was the son of John M. Weatherwax and wife Martha E. Keyes. Born in Michigan on 3 Sep 1878 he was in the lumber business. Around 1901 he married Auli Moore or Morre. They appear in USC 1910 in Aberdeen,Grays Harbor, in USC 1930 they appear in Hillsboro,San Mateo co. Calif.There is a posting on USWORLDCONNECT that indicates he may have died while in N.Y. city in 1939 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
I have found the passport application for his wife and found Cliff on a trip from London England to NY in 1907.
but nothing further on him or his wife. Based on USC 1910 in Aberdeen his wife appears to have been married previously as there is a (step-son) named Carl Gidding living with the family. Her passport application indicates she was born in Boston,Ma. but this USC1910 indicates a birth in NY state. In USC1930 she identifies her place of birth as Ma. I would appreciate any further info on this Weatherwax line.
