In the Tues Aug 3,1982 edition of the Bremerton Sun.
Harold D. Burton,70,of 4105 Kennedy Lane a general contractor for many years,died Monday at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec 31,1911 in Vancouver,B.C.,he lived in Canada as a young child,and grew up and attended schools in Bremerton.
Following orld War II, Mr. Burton became a general contractor,an occupation he pursued until his retirement five years ago.
He enjoyed ocean fishing.
Survivors include a son, Tom of Modesto,Calif; a daughter,Vicki (Mrs. Ken) Neiman of Pullman;his mother,Maybelle V. Craig of Bremerton; a sister,Vivian Stokesbary of Silverdale; two stepbrothers, Willard Brown of Port Townsend and Richard Brown of Tacoma;and three grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held in Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens, Omak, Okanogan County,Wa.
