I met you online before when you sent me info on the Cole family. These are my great grandparents. While it is true that Nellie was not my grandfather's mother by birth, she was the only mother he knew, so all of his brothers and sisters were full to him and considered as such by the rest of us descended from Thomas D MacArthur. The issue with the name change mainly came about because my grandfather Thomas was always getting his father's mail, so he changed his to MacArthur. Various relatives spell it both ways.
