I did get a copy of Swan's death certificate from the state of Washington. His date of death is listed as October 9, 1933. The name on the certificate is "Swan Wedlund". Why there was the mix-up in spelling is a mystery to me. I'd really like to get the article from the Anacortes newspaper on his death, also the obituary for his wife, Johanna Helander Widlon, who died December 26, 1924.

Also, I have a rather poor copy of a very interesting article from the Guemes Beachcomber newspaper, dated September 9, 1916, which gives a detailed account of the rather lavish 50th wedding aniversary party that was given in Swan and Johanna's honor. I would really like to get a better copy of this story, if you have any access to the archives of that publication.
