They married on 9 August 1919 in Concrete, WA. Concrete is a very nice little town. It was first a manufacturing town for the Portland Cement Company. The site was first settled upon in 1888 by Richard Challanger. In 1892. a post office was secured and the name Baker applied, as it was at the junction of the Baker and Skagit Rivers. In June 1905, the cement industry started and the Concrete eventually replaced Baker. There was also a town named Cement City with a post office in 1905. There was some argument over the name of Cement, so the name of Concrete probably came out of that rivalry. As we all know, Cement is the mix, cement is the final product.http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/DigitalObject/ViewAsJpeg?I...

I would suggest emailing the genealogist, Diane Partington, first to make sure this system is still in place. The listings "might" only be death notices. It does not appear there were any children.
This cemetery listing shows the cemeteries in the area, but none are transcribed:http://usgwtombstones.org/washington/skagit.htm
The Skagit County Auditor/Recorder had three recorded documents in the name of Fessler:
1. An Affidavit to Alpheius, re: the estate of Hester Mae Fessler, recorded 7/21/1989
This shows the home being at 4235 Grassmere Road.
2. A deed from Alpheius Lionel Fessler to Carl E and Violet M Smitha.
3. A deed transfer recorded on 3/25/1993 from the Estate of Alpheius Fessler
This shows the 4235 Grassmere Road was later changed to 44271 Grassmere Road, owner Robert L. Hornbeck.

The WA Courts http://dw.courts.wa.gov/index.cfm?fa=home.home&CFID=1622...
(Do a Name search on the right side)
shows a Skagit County Superior Court case, #92-4-00225-6, opened 10/01/1992, involving Alpheius L. Fessler, Deceased. This would be his probate case. His last will and testiment were part of the docket. You could request a copy from the Court Clerk for that Superior Court.
There is no probate record found for Hester, as she left a surviving spouse with property in both names.
