WOW! I just got a big chill down my back when I read this. I have been wondering what happened to Daniel. This is incredible. This is the family. I shudder to think there is a connection between the incident and the family legend.

It is interesting that the Sheriff's name was Berry, because one of her daughters married a Berry.

I will look for Daniel's family in La Plase, Illinois.

I knew the family was in Kansas City. I can not figure out why all of the children have the last name of McKelvey in the home of Maria Schroll.
