Really, really need to connect with any relative of the John & Marth (SCOTT)LEACH family who ended up in Washington state.
John was born in KY 1836, died Yakima Apr. 23, 1921, married Martha Ellen SCOTT b. 1844 MO, died Yakima Nov. 25, 1932.
In 1850 John was in MO, then CA, on to OR by 1880 census and by 1900 in Yakima.
All of the above names are surnames of John's children's spouses. Children:
Horace mar. Adelaide Irma PARZYBOK
John C. mar. an Augusta ???
Sarah Ella mar. Charles Wilbur LIGGETT
Melissa Miriam mar. 1) ??? TRAYNER, had one dau. Bessie.
mar. 2) Abraham Lincoln CHURCHILL
Henry Wilson mar. Lillian May CARPENTER
Minnie mar. William THOMPSON
George E. mar. Olive TRUITT
Lulu mar. James B. COOK
In addition to the above children, there were others for whom I have not discovered their spouses.
I hope someone reading this post will find some information on relatives and descendants that might have information.
