I, too, am a descendant of Abraham Ellis Sr. His first wife was Anna Maria Ried, whom he married in Sept. 1777 in York County, Pennsylvania. She died in childbirth in 1778, when she gave birth to her son, Abraham Ellis Jr. Katherine Joel was Abraham Ellis Sr's second wife, whom he married in 1781. Abraham Jr. married Elizabeth Riner in West Virginia in 1801 moved with the family to Ohio and on to Indiana where he died. Amy.
