I am looking for information on my great grandmother Amanda Chapman born 1871 in Braxton Co., WV. I don't know who her parents were or if she had any siblings. She married Alan Myers 2-16-1886. in Kanawha Co., WV . I have found several birth registers in Roane Co., for her children including my grandmother Nancy Ann Myers. I have been told that Amanda died in Roane Co. in the 1940's but haven't found any proof of that. I have also been told that Amanda was part Indian. Any help with finding info on Amanda is greatly apprciated.
