The 1880 Peoria Co., Illinois census states that Henry Foulk was 65 years of age and his father was born in Prussia and his mother was born in Virginia. I believe the birthplace of Jacob Foulk, JR. (the Morgantown potter) was Pennsylvania where his sister Barbara Foulk was born in 1769. Jacob Foulk, SR., the father of Barbara Foulk, Jacob Foulk, Jr., and many other children, was living in PA and VA during the late 1700s.
Does anyone know where Jacob Foulk, SR. died and is buried? The last time I found Margaret and Jacob Foulk, SR. mentioned was in a Monongalia County, VA (now WV) deed during September 1807 when they sold property.
