Mary "Polly" Brumfield is the daughter of James Brumfield, Jr. and Susannah ? --born in Amherst Co. VA abt. 1785 and death between 1860/1870. She is in the Cabell Co. Census records from 1850-1860--living with sons John and James (in that order.)It is believed that she and Sugar were buried on Coleman Creek on the property of Lester Johnson(according to Cleda Stephens). I have not researched her any further.
