Solomon Waugh, 54 years old, died Saturday morning at 4 o'clock at his home in Altizer Place, on the Guyan road, after a lingering illness of heart disease.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and was formerly employed at the International Nickel plant.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Blue Sulphur church. Burial will be made in a nearby cemetery.
Mr. Waugh is survived by his widow, three daughters, Misses Estil and Ola Waugh, at home, and Mrs. Morton Griffith, of McCorkle, W. Va., three sons, Harlan, Homer and Randall Waugh; his father, William Waugh, of Ona, W. Va., two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Shelton and Mrs. Lavena Hilbert of Huntington, and two brothers, Alva Waugh, of Columbus, O., and Tilden Waugh, of Trace, W. Va.
