I am looking for information on the fatal shooting of Woodrow C. Beavers that took place on January 1 of 1972 at the "Continental Club" in Huntington, WV. According to his death certificate he was shot at the Continental Club at 5:00AM on 1/1/1972 and died at 6:00AM at Cabell Huntington Hospital. His residence is listed as the Fifth Avenue Hotel in Huntington at the time of his death.

I am looking for any and all information anyway may have on this incident and on both the Continental Club and the Fifth Avenue Hotel in the very early 1970s.
