Jefferson Smith is the son of Elizabeth sister of Polley

Polley and Elizabeth had a sister named Sarah Sally she married Samuel Damron but Samuel also married Sarah Ratliff first and through that first marriage Elizabeth Damron wife of "Tar Keg" was born.

John lived with his dad Peter and step mom Nancy in 1880 along with my 3rd great grandma Cinderella. Cinderella became a sister in law to Jefferson Smith that wrote the auto biography.
