I thought parents of my gr grandfather, Morris Bailey Ellison, were Felix Ellison(b. abt 1830) & Nancy J. Thomas. But on Morris Bailey's marriage license application he lists Malinda Ellison as his mother & no father listed. Felix' father Felix (b. 1807) was first m. to Adeline Walker. There is confusion as to how many children (& who) they had. He then m. Mary Carnafix but he died after only a few months. Mary m. James Wood in 1841 & in 1850 some of her Ellison step children are with their household. Can't find them in 1860 but in 1870, Malinda Ellison has joined some of these Ellisons. Are Malinda & Sarah J. sisters? sister-in-laws? Who is Milton A & Milton L? Are these siblings of Felix (b. 1830)? Is this the same Malinda that had dau. Rhoda (m. Felix Parrish in 1881)? Felix Parrish then m. Clarisa Ellison, dau. of Felix Ellison (1830) & Nancy Thomas! In 1850, Malinda Ellison is living with John & Sarah Fox! Help!
