I did find Malinda Phillips death and it gave her parents names, although their last name was spelled different,

Molinda Bell Phillips ( First name as spelled)
Died: Aug 13,1928 Barbour,W.Va
Married: James K. Phillips
Her Father: Steven Straudmen
Her Mother: Barbara Straudmen

I will try and find more. Hope this helps!
