Hello. I am researching the family of Jonathan Lambert, who moved with his 8 children to Clarksburg just after 1784. He died there in 1803. I cannot find his wife's name or death date. Sons William, John, Josias, Amos, and Aaron all married there and moved to Greene County Ohio.
Daughters all married there and died there in Clarksburg area:
Susanna Lambert Parks, d. 5/3/1834;
Hannah Lambert Davis, d.after 1840;
Anna Lambert Holden, d. 11/30/1824.
I need to find the name of Jonathan's first wife, and death date. Also whether he married again. A Jonathan Lambert married a Margaret McFarlin there 1/14/1797, but this could be another Jonathan. Jonathan, son, John, and grandson, John Jr. all petitioned for a new county when Harrison county was being formed. Jonathan and son, William each owned 300 acres of land in the county. There seems to be no record of Jonathan's wife anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Cordially, Don Lambert
