In the past 10 days, I have found the maiden names for both my gr-gr-grandmothers. Aurelia HARE was an ATHY, the dau. of George Washington ATHY and Susannah HOUSE listed in the Morgan Co. Census, Cacapon Twp.
Nancy was, as I had thought, a GROSS and married Edward SHARON (Sherin on marriage license) on 2/19/1849 in Allegany Co., MD. Would any GROSS researchers be able to tell me who Nancy's parents were? Harriet Groce? is living with Edward and Nancy in the 1860 Morgan Co. Census, listed as a niece. Harriet was the dau. of Henry & Ann, which would make Nancy & Henry brother and sister, if all was documented correctly. I would appreciate any information you can give on this family.
