Hello! The purpose of my inquiry was to see if anyone had any documented link from Philip Jr. to Henry NULL. They are both buried at the 18mile creek cemetery called HENRY NULL Cemetery. Philip Null was born NC in 1790 died Putnam Co. 1874; Henry Null (son) was born 1822 died 1899 both in Putnam Co., WV
Yes, I am a DAR. I am aware the census are not a "stand alone" source, but as a secondary (which is still accepted by DAR)

Tradition in the Null family has these records way back. I need to find a positive document, ie will, land deed or something that proves that Henry was Philip Jr.s' son.

Short of a trip to WV, I don't know what to try next.....
