Thanks to you finding the Headstone of Samuel and Lydia (Headley) Santee, my ggg grandparents, I now know they died sometime in 1900. They appeared on the 1900 census, their sheet enumerated June 1st.

So they died between June 1st and the end of the year. (seven month period) Is that enough of a "round about idea" for the staff in your office to locate death certificates or would I need to narrow it down some more?

I'm just trying to figure the range of time that wouldn't cause anyone down there to hate me too much.

Thanks for your replies.
Sincerely,
Marc Carroll
