Funk - Rosier
My records (mostly compiled by Virginia Chatelain) show two sons of George Funk (1809-1870) had wives whose maiden names were Rosier:
John Amos Funk (1836-1878) m Nancy Rosier (1840-1900);
Israel Bolden funk (1840-1891) m Sarah Ann Rosier (1840-1921)
[If the birth dates are correct, the girls could not have been sisters]

Sarah's place of birth is said to be Rosier, WV; many other family events occurred in Taylor Co or Preston Co WV. Of course West Virginia was part of VA in 1840. I cannot find a record of a place named Rosier.

I would appreciate any information about the place name Rosier, or the birth places of the Rosier girls.
