I have that same painting print #500 of the 3400 printed and I love the lightness and airyness of the colors and the painting itself. Your grandfather did wonderful work. My painting is in mint condition. I hope there are many other painting like that around. I sure enjoy mine. And yes, it is signed by him in pencil as well as on the painting itself. I can send you a picture of it if you like. Wish I could have studied under him. I'm just now learning watercolors and sure appeciate all the work that went into this "county morning" picture. I love his detail on the nails coming out of the boards.
