Does anyone know where Ira Goff Copley, William Riley Spaulding, David Bartram, William Bartram, William Shannon, Joseph Dennis York, or Stanley Chaffin are buried at? These men were in the 167th Militia. This regiment was also called the "Home Guards". Would like to know for some research I'm doing. The first 5 men were captains in the militia, Joseph Dennis York and Stanley Chaffins was in the militia, but they were also Justices of the Peace during the Civil War. I actually would be interested in knowing where any of the men of the 167th are buried. Many of the soldiers of the 167th were also in the 5th WV Infantry. Rennie Talbert has a fine book on the soldiers of the Civil War in Wayne County, but I was wanting information on where they are actually buried. I sincerly appreciate any help!
