Powell, Charles Robert (Bob), age 71 of Moses Lake, WA, died December 2, 2004.
Bob was born August 28, 1933 in New Martinsville, the son of the late Charlie and Mary Belle Guthrie Powell.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by three brothers and four sisters.
While serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, there was an in-flight accident and Bob lost his sight from a head injury. He retired from the service in 1959 and moved to Seattle, WA.
He was an active member of the VFW and IMManuel Lutheran Church in Moses Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mildred Westberg Powell of Moses Lake; sons, Robert (Renae) of South Bend, WA, and Richard of Moses Lake; four granddaughters all of South Bend; one sister, Marjorie Neal of Canton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews in this area.
Memorial services were held Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moses Lake.
