While searching at FamilySearch I ran across the following info. Grooms name: Fred E.York
Father's name: W.H.York
Mother's name: Zictana York
Brides name: Addie (Adelaide) Schamplon
Father's name: unk Schamplon
Mother's name: Marion Schamplon
Date: 6 Nov.1883 Adams, Wisconsin
According to the census(s) Children: Mary A. 1884
Olive L. 1887
Earl D. 1894
Irwin W. 1887
The above on the Schamplon/Shamplo's is all I could find for this particular family. Anyone know what happened to them, where they came from? My father-in-laws family came from France(Moselle) about 1849 and was spelled Schamplon but was pronounced Shamplo. There are not many people whose name is spelled this way, here or in France. Thank you, Richard Hunt
