Looking for information on James A. Alger, born in 1920 or 1921, probably in Kaukauna or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Hilma (Peterson) and John (aka Jack) Alger. John and Hilma were living in Washington, DC with her sister Jennie Peterson at the time of the 1920 census. James A. Alger, age 8, was living with his grandmother, Lottie Peterson and uncle, Alfred M. Peterson on a farm in Prairie Lake Township, Barron County, Wisconsin at the time of the 1930 census. John Alger and Hilma separated about the time of James' birth and later divorced. John is dead and no information has been found regarding Hilma or her son, James, since the 1930 census.
