Here is a possiblity for Carl Anderson in the 1900 Census for Clinton, Barron County, Wisconsin

Carl Anderson, born September 1864 in Sweden, immigrated in 1882, married 6 years, farmer
Maud Anderson, born September 1875, Wisconsin, married 6 years, has had 3 children, 3 of whom are living.
Ray born May 1895 in Wisconsin
Harsel, born June 1897 in Wisconsin (the 1910 census lists her as Hazel, a daughter)
Fredy, born September 1899 in Wisconsin

Many Scandinavian immigrants dropped the second s in their last name.

The same family in 1920, also in Clinton, Barron county,

Carl Anderson, age 53, immigrated in 1883, naturalized in 1904, widowed
Fay Anderson, age 20, son (this must be the Fredy from 1900
George M. Anderson, son, age 17
Murrell I. or Merrill Anderson, son, age 15
Lawrence L. Anderson, age 13
Norman Anderson, age 8

There is a marriage in the Wisconsin genealogy index for Carl W. Anderson and Maud Campbell on April 19, 1894 in Barron County.

This index has pre-1907 vital records. It does not have all records, as registration was not required prior to 1907.

This page at lists an Elmer Fay Anderson, who may be Carl's son. It also lists a Maud Anderson, wife of Carl who died in 1911, so perhaps she died in childbirth with the youngest son
