I saw this... in the BAYFIELD COUNTY PRESS - Friday April 23, 1909

People in THE PRESS -- Friday, April 23, 1909
Deaths – PEARSON: Martin PEARSON, who has been a resident of this city for some time, died Saturday, April 10. Mr. PEARSON was a single man and was sixty-two years of age. Two sisters reside here, Mrs. Ben PETERSON and Mrs. Godfred PETERSON. Funeral services were held Monday, Rev. SAMUELSON officiating. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of their many friends.

Martin Pearson was my great-grandfather's brother (Lorenz Pearson). They immigrated in the early 1880's. I knew they had a sister named Dorothea who was married to a Godfred Petersen, but I was shocked to find another sister living in Bayfield County! This article doesn't mention her first name - only Mrs. Ben Petersen. (Lorenz wasn't mentioned but he was living in Duluth at the time)

Anybody hear of this Petersen/Pearson family? Anybody know Ben Petersen's wife's name?

Thank you,
Barbara
